PNG: Stakeholders strengthen their knowledge on Safeguards Database Reporting System

Papua New Guinea has the third largest tropical forest in the world and is at the forefront of working towards fostering conservation and sustainable management of its forest. UNDP is working closely with government partner, the Climate Change and Development Authority (CCDA) to look at reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, also known as REDD+.
